Jockey Club Yung Shing Lutheran Integrated Service Centre

Introduction

The centre was established in 2000, locates at 2 nd floor of Yung Shing Shopping Centre, providing multi-service to children and youth in Fanling. The Centre provides school social work service for 3 secondary schools in the area and also provides comprehensive guidance service for 1 primary school. The centre was funded by Hong Kong Jockey Club and Lotteries Fund to have modernization work, providing good quality service for children and youth.

Objectives

To promote building up harmonious families, and to strengthen the family functioning.
To encourage children and youth to care and participate in the community.
To help children and youth to build up a positive life value, and to provide life education.
To support youth to face issues concerning employment.

Target

Children and youth age 6 to 24 and their family members.

The centre has an Indoor Adventure Activities Base, a Youth Studio, a Sensational Play Room, a Band Room, a Job Skill Training Room, and Speech Training Room, a Cooking Room, a Computer Corner and a small hall with the capacity of about 200 people.
