Sun Chui Lutheran Children Centre
Introduction
Our children centre was established in 1985 and we provide multi-functional social services to children and families who live in Sha Tin. Our services include children growth development social service, volunteer leader training, parenting education, and school support services. In recent years, we collaborate with schools to provide learning support service to student with special educational needs. This supporting service will improve student’s learning abilities and daily living skills.
Objectives
- Strengthen children’s overall personal growth through guidance and counseling service.
- Provide caring service to children who live in a disadvantaged environment and enhance social connection between neighbors.
- Encourage members of the society/community to participate in volunteer work that will raise the values of the society/community.
- Enhance parent-child relationship as to foster the harmony in families.
