School Social Work Division

School Social Work Division was established in 1979. Our Lutheran School Social Work Unit provides stationing school social work service to 14 secondary schools. The objectives of the service are to help students to solve their personal problems, make maximum use of their educational opportunities, develop their potentials to the fullest and prepare them for adulthood.

Pre-school Rehabilitation Service Division

Pre-school Rehabilitation Service Division contains five service units including three On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services Teams and two Early Education and Training Centres Cum Special Child Care Centres.

The social workers, speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and special child care workers will work as a multidisciplinary team to provide on-site training and centre-based training to those children with special needs.

In addition, home training suggestions and parent-child activities are also provided to the service users in order to enhance the parent-child relationship and build up a positive developmental environment for the children.
