Bravo Lutheran Child Development Centre

Introduction

Our organisation set up a Early Education and Training Centre in 2022. Special Child Care Centre services will commence on a date to be determined. Services for children with special needs are provided by social workers, educational psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and special childcare workers.

Objectives

1. Provide rehabilitation training for students with special needs to facilitate their development of potential and enhance their development on learning and living quality.
2. Guide the development of students in all aspect through teaching parents to use different methods in environment and daily life. Providing counselling and parenting education services to assist parents in understanding and accepting of developmental and learning needs of their children, as well as dealing with pressures and difficulties in life.

Target

1. Special Child Care Centre
   Targeted at schoolchildren aged 2-6 with developmental disabilities (moderately or severely mentally handicapped, moderately or severely physically handicapped, blindness, deaf, severe behavioural or emotional problems, hyperactive or autistic)
   
   
2. Early Education and Training Centre
   Targeted at infants and young children with developmental disabilities from birth to 6 years of age, or school children who are  on the waiting list and have not been arranged for other subsidized rehabilitating services.
   
   
3. Occasional Child Care Service
   Serving children with developmental disabilities aged 2-6

Service

1. School children supports: Individual training – to help child with special needs to improve their ability of speech, cognition and motor skills.
2. Parent Support: Educational programs – to help parents to establish positive attitude and effective skills in raising their children with special needs.

1. Centre Office Hours
   Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (extended to 7:00 pm on Wednesday)
   Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
   Sunday and Public Holiday Closed
   
   
2. Special Child Care Centre Service Hours
   Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
   Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday Closed
   
   
3. Early Education and Training Centre Service Hours
   Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
   Saturday, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (extended to 6:00 pm every other week)
   Sunday and Public Holiday Closed
