Heng Fa Chuen Lutheran Day Nursery

Introduction

Since 1988, Heng Fa Chuen Lutheran Day Nursery has been serving 2-6 years old children in providing full day and morning session pre-primary education from N, K1-K3 classes. At the same time, we support parents in providing Extended Hours Child Care Service and Occasional Child Care Service.

Objectives

Through the interactions between teachers and children,we adopt a multi-dimensional and comprehensive teaching model to foster children spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic development.In addition, we provide a happy, proactive and creative learning environment to nurture children's learning motives. Through outdoor learning experiences, weenable them to 'learn by doing'.We treasure life education, therefore we encourage and teach the children to care the needs of the community, participate proactively in social services and help the needed to witness the Christ's love.

Adhering to the Nursery's mission and education theme, following the curriculum guidelines matching with school based, blending with childhood life experience, designing and providinga multi-dimensional and comprehensive curriculum in the following aspects: language; early stage mathematics; individual and social; physical and health; art and culture; science and technology; to inspire the potential of the children so as to enable a all-round development in the above six aspects.

Outdoor learning experience - teachers bring the children to attend exhibitions and learning activities to enable them to build up knowledge through field observations and experience.

Take care of the children, provide them with self-care and daily routine training, provide balanced diet daily and arrange sleeping time in the afternoon.
